As the Business Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Business Analytics, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing complex systems, and supporting enterprise-wide business application initiatives.

A Day in the Life

  • Participate in system requirements definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide business applications across multiple programs/systems
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify gaps and requirements to improve client/user experience through leading requirements gathering sessions
  • Document the results of analysis activities using appropriate templates and tools
  • Make recommendations and influence outcomes regarding necessary changes on deliverables expected from other groups
  • Initiate and collaborate with other development groups to ensure integrated business solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong technical background with experience in SDLC and technical requirements gathering
  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple systems/projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) certification is a plus

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600 - $86,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
