The City of Ontario, California, is seeking an innovative Utilities Director – Engineering and Operations to provide strategic leadership for the Ontario Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC), with primary oversight of the utilities engineering, operations, and environmental programs divisions. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Ontario’s utility services by advancing innovative infrastructure projects and fostering a culture of operational excellence. The Utilities Director – Engineering and Operations will lead three division managers and up to 70 indirect staff, manage an operating budget of approximately $50 million, and collaborate on a $350 million capital improvement program.
