Job Description
Daniels Health is a well-established company, whose vision is to "Make Healthcare Safer" through the reduction of needle-stick injuries and cross-contamination throughout healthcare facilities.
We're actively seeking reliable, full-time, permanent Driver based in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Responsibilities:
Competently performs pre-trip and post-trips inspections with the intent of identifying and communicating minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor, and also completes daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile device.
Loads and unloads truck by placing and securing items in such a manner that prevents damage to the products and truck, regular lifting will be required
Local and occasional out of town routes, may require some overnights as well.
Ensuring all materials are properly packaged, and orders are fully complete and in accordance with the packing slip prior to trip departure.
Deliver and collect products/waste containers in accordance with scheduled route and serves customers by understanding, resolving and/or forwarding customer questions.
Diligently completes Daniels' commercial vehicle cleaning and disinfecting protocol on a daily basis.
Accurately records information on packing slip and manifest, ensuring compliance with TDG Regulations.
Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Class 5 license with air brakes
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Occasionally lifting, pushing pulling weights of sixty pounds or more.
- Minimum of 12 months verifiable, related behind the wheel driving experience (within last 36 months).
- Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract (dated within last 30 days).
- Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, such as reference check, background check, pre-employment medical test and a driver's road test or equivalent.
- Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace, and secure materials.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Ability to drive the vehicle safely in accordance with all traffic regulations.
- Ability to complete compliance paperwork and all shipping documents/bill of ladings.
