About the Role
Questing Goose Studio is looking for a Junior Marketing & Assistant Producer to join our small indie game studio. This position is primarily marketing-focused (75%), with a producer support component (25%). You’ll help grow visibility for our games by creating short-form viral content, managing our online presence, and connecting with content creators while also assisting with production and studio operations when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for students and new graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the game industry.
Marketing & Community (75%)
Create short-form viral content for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reddit Manage and grow the studio’s social media presence Design community announcements and promotional graphics Identify, research, and reach out to relevant influencers and content creators to play and showcase our games Track trends and propose creative, data-informed marketing ideas
Production Support (25%)
Assist the main producer with coordination and organizational tasks Research and help prepare grant applications relevant to indie game development
Skills & QualificationsRequired
Video editing, with a strong focus on short-form content creation Graphic design for social media and community communications
Nice to Have
Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Reddit algorithms and how they affect content performance
Who We’re Looking For
Formal education in one of the following: game development, marketing, communications, or relevant professional experience Strong passion for video games, with a solid understanding of gaming culture, online communities, and creator ecosystems Creative, proactive, and comfortable working independently Students and new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
