Our Ideal Candidate
Allnorth is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role supports the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial records and contributes to the monthly close process, financial reporting, and internal controls.
You will work closely with teams across Accounts Payable, Payroll, Credit & Collections, and other corporate support groups to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and financial reporting is completed in a timely and reliable manner.
A Day in the Life

Prepare journal entries including accruals, allocations, and adjustments

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
-
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reporting

Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
-
Produce key financial reports such as A/R Aging, WIP Aging, and A/P Aging
-
Support external audits and maintain strong internal financial controls
-
Collaborate with finance and corporate teams to support financial accuracy and reporting needs
What You’ll Bring to the Team

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
-
CPA designation preferred
-
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
-
Strong experience with general ledger accounting and financial close processes
-
Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. accounting standards
-
Advanced Excel and Financial Analysis
-
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and collaboration skills
