About the role

Starting salary from $20/hour (your experience is considered) Status: Permanent, Full-time

Work Schedules: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (two positions available)

  • Candidates must have flexible hours to accommodate evenings and weekends.

Work Location: 627 Plinguet Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2J 2W9

YOUR ROLE Under manager’s responsibilities and according to the methods learned in training, the Shortmix Operator performs various tasks including:

  • Prepare the pre-weigh and ensure the quality and quantity of all hand adds;
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, bagging, and inventory management;
  • Use necessary equipment when required, such as a forklift;
  • Ensure proper shortmix containers and medications scoops are used appropriately;
  • Labell and store medications and vitamins;
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of shortmix containers, scoops, and scales;
  • Manage the inventory of shortmix materials in their area;
  • Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor;
  • Work as part of a team and perform all other related tasks.

YOUR ASSETS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing;
  • Possess basic computer skills necessary to understand the operation of automated machinery;
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic calculations;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety;
  • Be comfortable working at heights and in environments where dust may be present;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
