About the role
General Purpose:
The Grain Receiver/Sanitation is responsible for the unloading, blending and transfer of grain as well as sanitation of assigned areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sample, analyse, weigh, and unload grain trucks.
- Blend wheat from receiving bins into a designated bin at a previously determined protein.
- Fill out all appropriate paperwork.
- Clean and maintain daily the grain receiving shed and wheat bin area.
- Report all leaks or malfunctions in the grain receiving area to Grain Logistics Supervisor.
- Measure grain bins daily.
- Assist and learn equipment maintenance.
- Must be aware of critical control points as they relate to product liability.
- Works responsibly throughout shift.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks.
- Perform all other related duties, including training as required.
REQUIREMENTs**:**

Grade 12 or equivalent with proven mathematical aptitude.

Demonstrated computer skills with an aptitude for computerized electronics.

Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.

Above average interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal and external customers.

Maintain internal forklift license.

Ability to work in stressful situations and to positively face challenges and solve problems.

Available for shift work as well as work on weekends, holidays, and call outs as required.
