SUMMARY
We are hiring a highly ambitious, experienced Project Manager to join our Operations team. This role will be a full-time, permanent position working out of our head office located in Oakville, Ontario. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to ferocious customer service, treating people right, and being a part of a team. Our team is the heart of everything!
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the successful execution of projects that directly align with DRMG’s corporate strategies and key business objectives. You will implement and maintain a standardized project management framework, ensuring all initiatives are prioritized based on strategic alignment, ROI, and effort. As the primary cross-functional facilitator, you will be responsible for translating business priorities into detailed project plans, proactively mitigating risks, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. If you have the ability to envision creative strategies for complex problems, apply your sharp analytical skills to vet those concepts, and possess the leadership skills to steer key initiatives toward their objectives, this may be the role for you!
AS A PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL MAKE YOUR IMPACT BY:
- Ensuring all projects are strategically aligned with company goals by working closely with the leadership team.
- Helping leadership prioritize projects based on a clear analysis of ROI and required effort.
- Defining, implementing, and maintaining a project management framework with standardized governance practices and methodologies across all departments.
- Converting high-level business priorities into clear, detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets.
- Defining clear project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and establishing detailed acceptance criteria at the outset.
- Identifying and assessing potential project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent roadblocks and maintain momentum.
- Guaranteeing all project deliverables meet established quality standards and achieve defined business objectives.
- Acting as the primary project facilitator to ensure tasks are completed on time, managing interdependencies between tasks and departments.
- Supporting change management efforts, particularly those focused on process improvements.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, fostering effective communication between internal and external teams.
- Preparing and presenting regular executive summaries for senior leaders, offering a high-level overview of the project portfolio and progress.
- Implementing and managing project management software, and coaching department heads on adoption and accountability.
- Using effort-impact analysis and RACI frameworks to standardize the intake and scoping of new initiatives.
YOU CAN EXCEL AS A PROJECT MANAGER IF YOU HAVE:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- A Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on project management or project facilitation experience.
- Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives in medium-sized companies specializing in direct mail, marketing services, media, and manufacturing.
- An existing PMO designation (or the commitment to obtain one) is a strong asset.
- Deep knowledge of project management and project facilitation methodologies and best practices.
- The ability to prioritize, plan, multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt plans to changing needs.
- Knowledge in evaluating initiatives based on ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and effort.
- Proficiency in project management software like Basecamp, Monday.com, Jira, or Asana with a high proficiency in Google Suite.
- Exceptional project facilitation skills, with a proven ability to drive clarity, unblock teams, and create momentum.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals, adapting to changing business needs with innovative solutions.

SUMMARY
We are hiring a highly ambitious, experienced Project Manager to join our Operations team.
