Business Development Representative (RFL Journey Guide) Full-Time Employee/ Remote
Overview Rich Fulfilling Life Wealth Management is seeking a Business Development Representative who plays a key role in driving growth for our Wealth Management business by identifying, qualifying and nurturing prospective clients (internationally trained physicians). This role is focused on lead engagement, initial client education and appointment setting for our advisors. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, an interest in financial services and the ability to build trust with clients. You will work in close partnership with the Advisory team and Management.
The position requires flexibility to work outside of standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET), including evening and weekend calls and meetings, as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities · Proactively identify and engage potential clients through calls, emails, social media, referrals etc. · Qualify leads based on financial needs, investment readiness and suitability for wealth management services. · Educate prospects on the firm’s wealth management offerings - including investments, insurance products, retirement planning, tax planning and portfolio management. · Schedule meetings and hand off qualified prospects to Financial Advisors. · Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM system. · Collaborate with marketing and advisory teams to optimize lead conversion strategies. · Manage follow-ups for no-show leads and execute outbound outreach efforts. · Meet or exceed daily activity targets and monthly qualified lead goals. · Stay informed about market trends, financial and insurance products and regulatory guidelines relevant to wealth management. · Required to travel to different provinces in Canada to attend conferences, events and dinner seminars from time to time.
Required Qualifications · Degree or Certification in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). · 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, banking, or financial services · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to build rapport and trust with prospective clients. · Basic understanding of financial products and investment concepts (training provided). · Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tools. · Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives. · High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism. · Self-starter, self-motivated with solid organizational and planning skills. · Goal oriented with discipline to maintain high call volumes.
Preferred Qualifications · Experience in banking, wealth management, insurance, or financial advisory sales. · Any other Sales and customer related knowledge, certification, trainings will be an asset. · Knowledge of compliance and regulatory environments in financial and insurance services. · Exposure dealing with high-net-worth or mass affluent client segments.

· Hours of work: Standard workweek of 40 hours, with availability to work in evenings and on weekends. Overtime, where applicable, will be compensated in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA). · This role is an incremental addition to the existing team, with high ownership and visibility, created to support the company’s growth objectives.
