About the role
Position: Cell Biologist
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $40 - $60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments using mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques. Isolate and establish clonal cell lines while monitoring cellular phenotypes. Study cellular structure, organization, and functional mechanisms. Assess and document sources of experimental variability across model systems. Develop and optimize experimental protocols for reproducibility and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate biological insights into datasets. Communicate scientific findings through clear written and verbal reports.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree or higher in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field. Strong experience with mammalian cell culture techniques. Proficiency in transfection methods and clonal isolation. Strong understanding of experimental systems and biological variability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment.
