Purpose As a Demand Planner, you will play a key role in the Sales & Operations Planning Process and lead the alignment among Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial functions! You will drive the monthly cadence of the S&OP Cycle (Demand Review, Supply Review) and will contribute to the maturity of the Demand Planning process towards IBP (Integrated Business Planning).

You will also work closely with the Supply Planning team to enhance service level while optimizing inventory. In addition, you are the key link with the Global Planning teams to ensure End-to-End visibility and synchronicity between global and local supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Canadian S&OP process for the assigned portfolio of products striving to align Commercial and Supply Chain plans.
  • Own critical metrics related to product portfolio (OTIF, forecast accuracy, NPI on-time launch and Life Cycle Management) and contribute to other supply chain-related measurements (inventory, obsolescence and write-offs)
  • Review statistical forecast and provide input on changes that may be required. Collaborate with functions such as Sales, Marketing and Finance to identify and incorporate market intelligence into the demand forecast.
  • Collaborate with global supply chain teams on projects affecting the product portfolio and/or the supply network.
  • Ensure positive relationship and end-to-end alignment with key functions: commercial organizations, local and regional supply chain organizations (Plan, Make, Source), Supply Chain Deliver, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Product Management
  • Find opportunities for continuous improvement to be implemented in functional processes.

Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or Engineering preferred.

Required

  • Relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in supply chain
  • Consistent track record in leading the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process and being responsible for the discussion with sales, marketing, and finance to align on consensus demand plan for short-term horizon (1-3 months) and long-term horizon (3-18 months).
  • Proficient in developing statistical forecast at multiple levels of aggregation and horizons.
  • Strong ability to integrate commercial insights and latest business assumptions into consensus forecast
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate and engage with multiple partners and at different levels of the organization.
  • Highly developed organizational skills – able to handle multiple high priority tasks/projects concurrently.
  • Self-starter and problem-solving mentality

Preferred

  • Experience in Healthcare, CPG or Pharmaceutical.
  • SAP/APO knowledge
  • Certification such as CSCP or CPIM
  • Sophisticated analytics and data visualization skills such as Power BI and/or Tableau.

  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations
