Focus Systems is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (AIMS & HR) (1890) to support healthcare technology, financial tracking, human resources, and business process improvement initiatives.

If you have strong experience leading business analysis activities within complex information technology or data analytics environments, stakeholder engagement, requirements management, documentation, testing, and enterprise project delivery, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact healthcare and administrative systems initiatives in Saskatchewan.

Key Details Location: Remote within Canada Contract: August 2026 - March 31, 2027, with two (2) additional twelve (12)-month extension options Work Arrangement: Remote; occasional travel to Saskatchewan may be required Authorization: Resource must be located in and legally authorized to work in Canada

Role Overview The business analyst will support the Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) legacy project, financial tracking systems, and future human resources initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, support testing activities, develop project documentation, and contribute to organizational change initiatives. This role requires strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work effectively in complex multi-enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business requirements Prepare presentations, reports, decision documents, and project artifacts for a range of audiences, including senior leadership Develop test strategies and test plans Coordinate and support testing activities Write, review, and maintain technical and end-user documentation Facilitate stakeholder workshops, meetings, and requirements sessions Support knowledge transfer and documentation initiatives Coordinate the development and implementation of metrics and KPIs Collaborate with business and technical teams to support project delivery Support organizational change management initiatives Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships Communicate project information, decisions, and recommendations to stakeholders

Mandatory Qualifications Minimum seven (7) years of experience working as a Business Analyst in a data analytics or information technology environment Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and coordinating testing activities Experience in preparing business and technical documentation Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops Experience working in complex multi-stakeholder environments Experience supporting project delivery initiatives Ability to work remotely from within Canada and travel to Saskatchewan occasionally if required

Preferred Experience & Assets Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Commerce, or a related discipline Healthcare industry experience Experience with Human Resources initiatives Experience with financial systems and reporting Organizational change management experience Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives Experience working with senior leadership and executive stakeholders Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices
