Job Description

Fairmont Gold Manager

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold, our exclusive “hotel within a hotel” experience. As Fairmont Gold Manager, your leadership will foster an engaged team of service professionals who bring our Fairmont Gold standards to life – and turn moments into memories for our guests.

Salary Range:$74,000 - $77,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and education

Job Duties Include:

  • Assist in leading and managing the Fairmont Gold team to ensure all Fairmont Gold standards and operating procedures are adhered to

  • Work with the Culinary Team to determine the Fairmont Gold Lounge menu, food cost, ordering and presentation

  • Ensure the highest possible revenues are generated for Fairmont Gold with a minimum of associated expenses.

  • Build a strong working relationship with the Front Office and Housekeeping departments to sell and promote Fairmont Gold within the hotel

  • Track and forecast daily, weekly and monthly Fairmont Gold occupancy levels and plan the department accordingly

  • Supervise all contributing colleagues who provide services to the Fairmont Gold area to ensure that the appropriate service levels are provided and achieved at all times

  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas

Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing or supervising a large hotel department or operation for 3+ years
  • Minimum of 2-years in a 4-Diamond hotel
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management an asset
  • Proven record of exceeding guest expectations, and commitment to luxury service
