We are looking for an outgoing, attention-to-detail, full-time Journeyman Sign Installer in our Lloydminster branch.

As a Journeyman Installer, you’ll be trusted with the complete installation of a wide range of signage products and comprehensive sign servicing in the Lloydminster area.

This includes:

Duties & Expectations:

• Working knowledge of sign industry & installation methods.

• Ability to read & understand drawings related to sign installation.

• Skilled in the practical applications of math, in relation to measurements & angles.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills.

• Installation and servicing of signs in compliance with CSA/UL standards.

• Troubleshooting, servicing, and retrofitting existing signage.

• Inspection of freight.

• Experience using manual & power tools.

• Loading/securing materials & hauling experience.

• Collaborating with project managers to ensure efficient, high-quality installs

• Ability to perform comprehensive surveys and submit electronically.

• Fluent with handheld devices.

• Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices and completion of required safety documentation.

• Operate and maintain fleet vehicle as per National Safety Code (E-logs, pre-trip inspections)

• The ability to lift up to approx. 50 lbs.

• Able to work at heights (in excess of 15feet)

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

• Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy & flexible.

• Overtime and out-of-town work involved.

Qualifications:

• Safety certification in Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, Cargo Securement, and Hours of Service is an asset.

• Aerial Boom/Crane Experience or Certification.

• Must display professional driving aptitude and have a VALID 3 or 5 Driver's License, clean abstract, and reliable transportation.

• Journeyman status in electrical, sign installation, rigging, or a related trade

• Strong understanding of sign installation practices and materials

• Experience with LED systems, low-voltage wiring, and troubleshooting

Hours are Monday to Friday, with some weekend work may be required.

This position is based in Lloydminster, but you may be traveling throughout central Alberta & Saskatchewan to service customers throughout the provinces.

Wage is dependent on experience.
