Job Description: The Financial Assistant is accountable for the preparation and
analysis of financial and statistical reports and supporting information for the operating budget for the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience
- One year experience in a computerized accounting environment.
Education
- Diploma in Accounting or Business from a recognized Canadian institution or equivalent experience supplemented by successful completion of several post-secondary accounting classes.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to produce results with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to organize daily activities and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
