Your job
- Act as an expert in the applications and technology and their connectivity and architecture
- Review, test, and deploy infrastructure and connectivity requirements, and provide daily support for back-office platforms and all their technical components.
- Actively participate in technical design discussions and produce the necessary functional and design deliverables.
- Meet business needs by breaking down requests, estimating the required effort, and ensuring continuous delivery based on agile principles.
- Continuously improve technological performance by optimizing processes and identifying effective solutions, conducting technology watch, proposing innovative ideas, and participating in their evaluation and implementation.
- Take charge of incidents, problems, and change requests, including planning and executing disaster recovery activities, and engaging the right stakeholders to troubleshoot, communicate, and resolve incidents with ownership, accountability, and urgency.
Your team
The IT and Operations team is made up of more than 5500 experts. The Vice Presidency Technologies Financial Markets, it is more than 100 specialists who work in an agile, proactive and collaborative way to seize opportunities, stay at the cutting edge of technologies and improve processes continuously.
Within the electronic negotiation sector, you are part of a large team of 15 colleagues and report to the Senior Manager, Transversal Technology Delivery. Our team stands out for its high level of expertise, its constant collaboration with the development, strategy and negotiation teams, as well as its commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Prerequisites
- A university degree or another diploma in computer science, software engineering, finance or a related field with several years of experience
- CSE or Series 99 Certification or in-depth knowledge of Market Events and post trade settlement, an important asset
- Good knowledge of trading and back-office systems and financial markets, an asset
- Experience in software development, network administration or server administration
- Proficiency in Linux, Wintel, AWS environments and Python/Java languages, an important asset
- Knowledge of FIX, MQ, JSON, XML and SFTP, a strong asset
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic and pressured environment.
