Responsibilities When your actions lead to success:

  • Provide support and direction to kitting line leads regarding production issues, quality concerns.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate the material flow in the department
  • Verify the first kit/finished product
  • Work with finishing and shipping to determine when completed jobs can be processed
  • Oversee work quality, address any issues between employees and other concerns that arise.
  • Resolve any employee relation issues to ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Continuous Improvement (5S), Security and Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as requested by Management in order to foster a team environment.
  • Perform daily safety floor tours
  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Alberta, WCB, and all other applicable legislated environmental, health & safety regulations.
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by understanding and adhering to all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

Qualifications When your expertise drives us:- Operational experience within, kitting, fulfillment, packaging, and assembly

  • Strong computer skills including PC based software applications (such as outlook, word, excel, and power point).

  • Knowledge in PACE system, Print Stream and or other warehouse Inventory Management System is preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills (i.e., verbal, written).

  • Must successfully complete an English competency test.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle stress in a patient and deliberate manner.

  • Successful quality management and process improvement experience would be an asset.

  • A proactive thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Possess strong leadership skills demonstrated by the ability to plan, organize, direct, delegate, and provide effective guidance

  • Grade twelve diploma

  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Must Demonstrate TC Core values; Respect, Teamwork, Innovation and Performance
