About the role
Reporting to the Director, National Pricing , this position will be responsible for collecting, tracking and updating supplier cost fields in the ERP system. Working closely with procurement and product directors, the incumbent will work on ensuring classifications of products are verified, list and standard cost are in line with what is expected to price properly. This position requires commitment to creating accurate data and costs.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Create tracking system for managing supplier cost increases.
- Manage analysis of cost increases, communication with suppliers and updates to the ERP system.
- Develop close working relationships with suppliers and buyers.
- Work on adhoc supplier cost projects to compare costs and provide analysis on best solutions
- Communicate cost increases to relevant internal teams and provide information on inflation by vendor/line to enhance sales growth reports.
- Test markup structure standard cost to list on a quarterly basis.
- Audit replacement cost and standard to ensure they’re in line with what is expected.
- Handle cost inquiries.
What You Bring to Our Team:
- A self-starter, change agent who can proactively drive continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills with a proven ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including analytical, administrative, and tactical execution where required.
- Comprehensive understanding of distribution, including the impacts of accurate cost and product segmentation.
- University Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years’ experience in a similar position.
Compensation Information:
Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
Supplemental Pay Types Include: annual bonus
The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience, in compliance with applicable regulations.
