Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Hay farming. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Haying equipment. Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Morning. Day.
