ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (SONOGRAPHER)
(CASUAL)
Two (2) casual cross-site Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) positions are available in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at North Wellington Health Care (Louise Marshall Hospital & Palmerston and District Hospital). The homesite for this position is Palmerston and District Hospital (PDH).
This position is unionized with OPSEU.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program
-
Current Membership with the CMRTO and proof of professional liability insurance
-
Small parts, general, abdominal, obstetrical experience
-
NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification is preferred
-
Vascular (Carotids etc.) ABI exams and MSK Shoulders and Knees etc.) experience is preferred or working towards
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
-
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
-
Other duties as required

Satisfactory performance and attendance required

Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date

Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check

Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
HOURS OF WORK:

As per department schedule

Must be available for all shifts
SALARY: $36.84 - $51.77 per hour
