About the role
We’re looking for a compassionate, child-focused Pediatric Dentist to join Dundurn Dental Specialty, our new specialty and advanced therapy clinic in Hamilton, Ontario, part of Passion Dental Group.
This role will be central to the clinic’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality specialty care to children and families in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Specifics about the role:
As a newly launched specialty clinic, most roles will begin on a part-time basis during regular business hours. As patient demand and services expand, there is strong opportunity for additional shifts and potential transition to full-time. We’re looking for specialists who are excited to grow alongside the clinic and become a long-term, trusted presence within both our team and the broader community.
Commission-based independent contractor opportunity. Engagement and compensation are governed by an executed independent contractor agreement. This is not an employee role.
About the Clinic:
Located near McMaster Children’s Hospital, Dundurn Dental Specialty is designed to support pediatric and medically complex patients through integrated care, advanced imaging, and sedation services, all within a welcoming and purpose-built setting.
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs
- Diagnose and manage caries, growth and development concerns, and oral pathology in pediatric patients
- Deliver behaviour-guided care, preventive services, and restorative treatments
- Collaborate with orthodontists, oral surgeons, and general dentists to support coordinated treatment planning
- Educate parents and caregivers on oral health, prevention, and developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Specialist certification in Pediatric Dentistry
- Registration and good standing with the RCDSO
- A calm, empathetic approach to patient care
- Strong communication skills with both children and caregivers
- Comfort working in a referral-based, multidisciplinary setting
- Experience with sedation or hospital-based care is an asset
