About the role
Premier Mining Products, part of the Pilot & Co group, is looking for an organized and hands-on Manufacturing Operations Planner to join our North Bay team. You will help keep daily operations running smoothly by planning production, creating work orders, monitoring material requirements, and coordinating priorities with production, procurement, and sales. If you enjoy solving practical problems and making sure work gets done efficiently, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule production based on demand and available capacity Create, update, and follow up on work orders Monitor material and inventory requirements for upcoming production Communicate material needs and shortages to the procurement team Coordinate daily priorities with production, procurement, and sales Maintain accurate planning and production information in Odoo Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when required Help resolve day-to-day operational issues Support improvements to workflows, lead times, and on-time delivery Qualifications Experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, production coordination, or shop-floor operations Comfortable working with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an asset Knowledge of machining or manufacturing is preferred Organized, practical, and attentive to detail Able to manage changing priorities and follow through on commitments Strong communication and problem-solving skills We welcome candidates from different backgrounds, including manufacturing technicians, industrial engineering graduates, planners, machinists, or experienced shop-floor professionals ready to move into a planning role.
