The Assistant Boutique Fitness Manager plays a critical role in delivering this experience. Boutique studios are one of Altea’s core pillars, responsible for the majority of group classes across the club and shaping how members engage with training on a weekly basis. This role supports the execution, consistency, and quality of that offering, ensuring studios run smoothly; instructors are supported, and members experience the energy, structure, and professionalism that sets Altea apart.

Working closely with the Boutique Fitness Manager, the Assistant Manager helps bridge strategy and day-to-day execution on the floor. This position blends people leadership, operational accountability, and hands-on presence within the studios, helping maintain high standards while fostering a positive, connected team environment.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • 1–2 years of experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or a service-based leadership or support role.

  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.

  • Comfort balancing multiple priorities in a busy, member-focused environment.

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

  • Familiarity with studio management platforms (e.g., Mindbody, Mariana Tek, Glowfox) is an asset.

  • Familiarity with outlook/Microsoft suite

  • CPR & Standard First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • A recent Criminal Background Check prior to start date.

A typical day might include:

  • Managing schedule changes, class substitutions, and studio themes to ensure smooth daily operations for members.
  • Acting as a support liaison for instructors on payroll questions, platform support, and new-hire onboarding.
  • Following up with team members who may need additional clarity or coaching around processes and escalating when appropriate.
  • Completing inventory checks and helping maintain studio upkeep
  • Supporting the rollout of new processes or updates as needed.
  • Reinforcing existing procedures and contributing ideas to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Assisting with member inquiries pertaining to the Boutique department.
  • Supporting member communications, including questions, concerns, and proactive updates related to studio programming.
  • Helping coordinate and support club-level events
  • Providing coordination and operational support on departmental initiatives and cross-studio projects.
  • Supporting the marketing team on recurring initiatives and in-club activations
  • Supporting content planning and execution in alignment with department goals and leadership direction.
  • Teaching 5–10 studio classes per week to stay closely connected to programming quality, instructor standards, and the member experience.
  • Assisting the Boutique Fitness Manager with day-to-day needs to keep the department running smoothly.

Additional details:

  • In person position
  • 30 hours in office, 10 hours teaching classes per week
  • Salary ranges from 65,000 - $75,000/year
  • 3 weeks paid vacation
  • 5 flex days (sick days)
