GFL Environmental is looking for aClass 1 or Class 3 Roll-Off Driverto join our team inDawson Creek, British Columbia!
The role requires physical capability to frequently lift container hooks. An ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor and is physically capable of completing job duties in a positive, team oriented and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing assigned duties on container delivery and hauling of customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional roll-off sites
- Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, secure bin on truck, empty bin at transfer station/landfill, return bin to customer site
- Perform driver check-ins periodically to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.
- Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities
- Required to tarp loads
- Required to be able to lift the Roll-Off hook and attach it to the bin, requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies
- May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisor/Site Manager
- Required to follow all applicable Provincial and Federal transportation laws
Requirements
- Must have valid Class 1 or Class 3 License with Air Brake endorsement
- 1-2 years driving experience in a transportation sector
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
