Dryden Gold Corp. is seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead and oversee our mineral exploration programs. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in mineral exploration, discovery, and drill project management, with a strong focus on gold. Key Responsibilities
Exploration Leadership:
- Plan, execute, and manage all aspects of the company’s exploration programs.
- Ensure all exploration activities adhere to high safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
- Build and lead a skilled exploration team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and operational efficiency.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop geologists, technicians, and field staff while promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Develop and oversee exploration budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Provide regular updates on exploration results and strategy to senior management.
- Prioritize exploration targets and allocate exploration capital based on evolving geological results and corporate objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, Indigenous communities, and other local stakeholders.
- Oversee agreements and negotiations with stakeholders to support responsible and sustainable exploration.
- Represent Dryden Gold at industry events and investor presentations.
Technical Expertise & Project Execution
- Supervise and coordinate geological fieldwork, including mapping, sampling, and drilling programs.
- Manage drilling contractors and exploration service providers, ensuring programs are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control and assurance measures.
- Analyze and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to refine exploration models and targets.
- Lead geological targeting and continuously refine exploration models using integrated geological, geochemical, geophysical, and structural datasets.
- Oversee permitting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable provincial regulations and company policies.
- Act as the company’s internal Qualified Person (QP) under NI 43-101 guidelines.
- Prepare technical reports and contribute to statutory filings as required.
- Contribute to technical presentations, news releases, investor materials, and board presentations.
Corporate Strategy & Growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement corporate exploration strategies.
- Assist in securing project financing through technical presentations and engagement with investors and financial institutions.
- Oversee joint ventures and strategic partnerships related to exploration projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a preference for gold-focused projects.
- Degree in geoscience or a related field (MS considered an asset).
- Strong technical knowledge in geological mapping, core logging, geochemical and geophysical applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead exploration teams and manage field operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in Archean orogenic gold systems is an asset.
- Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation.
- Proficiency in geological modeling and data management software.
