Facilities Supervisor-1 FT
About the role
This position contributes to the maintenance of SIGA's memorable facilities, and provides a safe and healthy environment for staff, guests, and contractors, by supervising Facilities Department staff and activities.
Assisting department management with staffing and performance activities. Carrying out a wide variety of administrative tasks relating to auditing, HR, and finance. Creating, distributing and revising staff schedules to meet operational needs and control costs. Monitoring all Facilities operations, including repairs, renovations, preventative and operational maintenance of all Casino systems and properties. Carrying out preventative maintenance according to established programs and schedules. Cleaning Casino floors, washrooms, offices, windows, and furniture. Providing and monitoring customer service to guests. Participating in other projects and activities as required, to maintain Casino facilities and equipment in good order.
Successful completion of a one-year certificate in a relevant field or a combination of relevant education, training and/or experience Experience in a maintenance department, including the use of general cleaning equipment Experience assisting with recruitment, training and coaching of staff while in a supervisor role
