Position #: 202439 Expected Start Date: May 30, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Victoria Hospital City/Town: Prince Albert Department: General Surgical Nursing Unit Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: NoSalary or Pay Band: Pay Band $51.10 to $62.50 (5 step range)Job Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalist who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Travel Required: Yes Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an assetEducation- Successful completion of a recognized accredited PA educational programLicenses- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant- Certified with the Canadian Association of Physician AssistantsCompetencies- Intermediate - Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example- Advanced - Technical skills- Advanced - Communication skills- Advanced - Interpersonal skills- Intermediate - Computer skills- Advanced - Analytical skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy- Demonstrated written and spoken competence in English language- Ability to work independently- Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrity- Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm- Commitment to a diverse, representative workforce and cultural safety- Abili...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
