<p>Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is currently seeking an experienced&nbsp;<strong>Welder</strong>&nbsp;to join their production team in Barrie, Ontario.</p> <p>This is a&nbsp;<strong>full-time, long-term opportunity</strong>&nbsp;on the day shift, offering competitive pay and a stable work environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.</p> <p><strong>Shift:</strong>&nbsp;Day shift, Monday to Friday<br /><strong>Pay:</strong>&nbsp;$25.00/hour + opportunity for bonus&rsquo;s<br /><strong>Benefits:</strong>&nbsp;To be discussed upon hire</p> <p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions</li> <li>Measure, prepare, and weld metal components to specification</li> <li>Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely</li> <li>Assemble welded parts according to production and quality standards</li> <li>Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and workmanship</li> <li>Follow all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area</li> <li>Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality expectations</li> <li>Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and teamwork</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>CWB welding certification&nbsp;<strong>or</strong>&nbsp;a minimum of 3+ years of welding experience</li> <li>Experience welding steel and aluminum</li> <li>Ability to read and understand technical drawings</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination</li> <li>Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment</li> <li>Exposure to welding robots, CNC plasma, press brakes, or CNC shear equipment is an asset</li> <li>Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs</li> <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English</li> <li>Must be legally entitled to work in Canada</li> </ul> <p><strong>Working Environment</strong></p> <p>This position is based in a manufacturing facility and involves working on a production floor with exposure to noise, dust, and industrial equipment.</p> <p><strong>What&rsquo;s in It for You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive hourly wage</li> <li>Full-time, long-term employment</li> <li>Consistent day shift schedule</li> <li>On-the-job training</li> <li>Supportive team environment</li> <li>Opportunity to work with a reputable local employer</li> </ul> <p><strong>Have we piqued your interest?</strong><br />Apply today!
