About the role
SYSTEMS ENGINEER
We are currently hiring an intermediate systems engineer to join our team. This position reports directly to the engineering manager and will design leading-edge amusement rides, industrial, renewable, and marine systems.

###Responsibilities:
- Develop system-level documents, like risk assessments, compliance/verification matrix, test plans, test procedures, FEMA, installation & training instructions, operation & maintenance manuals.
- Review deliverables from subcontractors against subsystem specifications.
- Identify scope gaps and compliance gaps, and work with internal and external teams to close those gaps; participate actively in identifying solutions and managing containment actions.
- Receive design review comments and action them to internal and external teams; track them to completion.
- Support project managers by developing technical status updates, change order requests and variance requests, including detailed technical analysis of options and recommendations.
What kind of work do we do?
We specialize in delivering sustainable engineering solutions where safety is paramount. This includes systems design on submarines, roller coasters, renewable energy systems and other safety-critical projects. Large industrial projects are common, especially those with harsh environments. Safety risk assessments are also a strong specialty of ours. There is much more of course, but this is the type of work you will want to have familiarity with.

Education & skills requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
- Eligible for a P.Eng. license in BC with EGBC
- Three years or more of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Engineering Tools
