About You:
You are a detail-oriented and reliable security professional, holding a valid BC Security Worker’s License and experience with CCTV systems and security operations, you are committed to safeguarding people, property, and assets with integrity and professionalism. We are looking for CCTV operators to take casual shifts in evenings, nights and weekends to support the business demand.

What You Will Do:
- Conducts visual patrol verifications of assigned properties utilizing CCTV programs and/or associated software.
- Investigates any and all causes of alarm conditions as indicated or flagged in the CCTV programs and/or associated software.
- Activates any assigned device(s) on an assigned property or operational sector in compliance with policy and procedure manual(s).
- Conducts attentive and alert surveillance and counter-surveillance of any assigned properties, assets or person(s).
- Prepares and submits Incident Reports for Senior Management and location stakeholders.
- Prepares and submits reports for Crown Counsel or District Attorney according to operational sector.
- Ensures all required documentation is completed by shift end.
- Conducts escalating communications with local authorities and agencies in accordance with policy and procedure manual(s).
- Ensures that emergency services are activated and correctly directed as required in response to on-location incidents and observations.
What You Will Bring:
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Must be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, and exercises confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass a Background check
- Valid BC Security Worker’s Licence.
- Familiarity with standard and emergency security operations for construction, commercial, retail and/or residential settings.
- Familiarity with CCTV operations and associated hardware/software.
Salary Range:
$23 - $24 per hour
