Job Summary
Assist pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with pharmacy standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness. Prepare, package, and label medications under pharmacist supervision. Maintain medication inventory and prescription records. Enter patient and prescription information into pharmacy systems. Compound sterile and non-sterile medications as required. Process billing, insurance claims, and customer payments. Provide excellent customer service and support pharmacy operations.
Requirements
Pharmacy Technician Diploma. Registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
