About the role

Are you passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences and helping people achieve their dream smiles? Dr. Glenn J. Paleczny Certified Specialist in Orthodontists is seeking a passionate part-time Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our well-established practice in North Bay, Ontario. This is a replacement position within our established orthodontic team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills
  • Take intra-oral records and radiographs.
  • Provide exceptional assisting skills to our clinical team.
  • Perform Invisalign scans.
  • Sterilization of instruments by adhering to the RCDSO infection control protocols
  • Provide oral health education to our patients and families.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

The Teammate We’re Looking For

  • Successfully completed a Level 2 Dental Assistant Certificate.
  • MUST have your NDAEB board exams written and must possess active status
  • HARP certification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
  • Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.
