We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring seamless communication, accurate assessments, and outstanding satisfaction for all vehicle service needs. - Greet customers warmly upon arrival and actively listen to their vehicle concerns or service requests.
- Conduct thorough consultations to identify issues, recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance based on Kia manufacturer guidelines, and explain services in clear, non-technical terms.
- Prepare detailed repair orders, including accurate cost estimates for parts, labor, and timelines.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate with the service team to prioritize work, and manage the service bay workflow.
- Communicate regularly with customers on vehicle status updates, potential additional services, and any changes to estimates.
- Collaborate with technicians to relay customer information and ensure repairs meet quality standards.
- Handle invoicing, process payments, and verify warranty or service contract coverage.
- Promote additional services, such as routine maintenance packages or accessories, to enhance customer value.
- Perform follow-up calls to confirm customer satisfaction and address any post-service concerns.
- Maintain accurate records in the dealership's management system and comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
