Our client is a growing technology and cybersecurity consulting organization that supports small and mid-sized businesses through strategic technology advisory, cybersecurity programs, and implementation services. They are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Client Delivery Manager to join their team on an initial 4-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized project professional who enjoys working with multiple clients, managing numerous concurrent engagements, and serving as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
About the Role This position is less focused on managing a single large-scale program and more focused on coordinating and overseeing a portfolio of short-term client engagements. At any given time, you may be responsible for 20–30 active client projects, with engagements typically ranging from 3–6 months in duration.
You'll work closely with technical specialists, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track, milestones are met, risks are identified early, and expectations are effectively managed.
Success in this role requires someone who can rapidly switch between clients and priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of 20–30 concurrent client engagements. Coordinate project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting activities. Facilitate client meetings, status updates, and project reviews. Serve as the primary point of coordination between clients and technical delivery teams. Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, blockers, or scope changes. Help ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with agreed-upon objectives. Manage client expectations and communicate effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with internal leadership when support is required. Maintain project documentation and reporting across multiple active engagements. Support both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches as required.
What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Client Delivery, Professional Services, or a related field. Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements in a consulting, MSP, technology services, or professional services environment. Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to lead discussions and navigate challenging conversations. Ability to balance competing priorities and switch context quickly between clients and projects. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Comfortable working with technical teams and translating information for non-technical audiences. Experience managing project scope, timelines, and client expectations. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Exposure to cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or compliance initiatives. Experience working alongside cybersecurity consultants, analysts, or advisory teams. Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) concepts. PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications Personality & Fit We're looking for someone who: Is comfortable asking questions and seeking support when needed. Can confidently push back on scope creep while maintaining strong client relationships. Is empathetic and professional when working with small and mid-sized business clients. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with many moving pieces. Enjoys being the face of project delivery and facilitating productive conversations. Brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset to every engagement.
