About the role
BCIT’s School of Business and Media is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.27 FTE**) faculty member** to teach in the Marketing Management Diploma Program in the Real Estate option in courses related to crafting and delivering proposals, from March to May: MKTG 4800: Building and Delivering Winning Real Estate Proposals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Applicants should have 20+ years of experience in marketing strategy development and execution specific to the Real Estate industry in British Columbia, including pitching, presenting, and creating consumer-facing messaging. They should also have at least two years of experience teaching adults in a post-secondary (for credit) environment. Full qualifications are listed below.

QUALIFICATIONS**:**

Licenced in trading services in the Province of British Columbia. Managing Broker’s License preferred.

Marketing credential (BBA/BCom with marketing concentration or equivalent).

20+ years’ proven success in marketing strategy development and execution within the BC real estate industry.

Demonstrated success crafting and defending proposals to executive stakeholders, with measurable outcomes.

Experience launching multiple BC new-development projects with cross-functional teams (designers, architects, consultants, sales) is an asset.

Instructional experience at a polytechnic or similar applied institution required.

An established network of relevant Real Estate contacts in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, and beyond.

Excellent English-language communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a collegial environment.

Salary Range
Salary Range: $65,045 - $113,545 per annum.
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
