##Your Role as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at JLR:
As a key member of the Marketing team, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the coordination and execution of firm-wide marketing and communications initiatives that reinforce the organization’s brand across national platforms. This role plays a central coordination function, helping ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery across internal and external marketing channels.
Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing & Communications, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative professional services environment and enjoys supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day marketing operations.
Marketing Coordination & Execution
- Contribute to the development of marketing content and design deliverables by supporting writing, layout, and visual execution as part of a collaborative team-based approach.
- Coordinate project photography, including scheduling, logistics, and collaboration with external contractors and JLR colleagues.
- Collaborate with regional teams and internal departments to align corporate messaging, deliverables, and rollouts.
- Oversee business card and digital card requests and production.
- Assist with coordination and research for firm-wide opportunities such as awards, sponsorships, and philanthropic efforts.
- Maintain JLR Merch storefront, including coordination of special orders.
- Support content logistics and calendar coordination to enable consistent, predictable delivery.
Social Media & Web Presence
- Maintain and update content calendars for social media and corporate marketing initiatives.
- Schedule, publish, and monitor social media content across platforms to support a consistent and timely brand presence.
- Support brand engagement on social media by interacting with partners, clients, and employees in a professional, on-brand manner that strengthens relationships and visibility.
- Support client-related marketing activities, including updates to social media follow lists and marketing email lists.
Brand Resources and Systems
- Organize, maintain, and update corporate marketing resources including photography, templates, core copy, brand materials, and shared libraries.
- Own the organization, auditing, and day-to-day management of digital assets in Media Valet or similar platforms, maintaining clear structure, consistent metadata, and up-to-date content.
- Support internal enablement by ensuring reference materials and brand resources are current, accessible, and easy to use.
Process Improvement & Development
- Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s services, practices, and internal stakeholders to support accurate messaging and effective coordination.
- Contribute to improving workflows and shared tools by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and suggesting practical improvements.
- Demonstrate initiative in strengthening team communication, organization, and efficiency.
- Pursue ongoing development in marketing coordination, campaign delivery, and professional services marketing.
##Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content-related roles.
- Experience in a professional services environment is an asset.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools (Canva, Planable, Hootsuite).
- Experience with digital asset management systems and shared libraries is an asset.
