About the role

Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production schedules to ensure the timely manufacturing of PPE products while meeting quality, safety, and cost objectives. This role balances customer demand, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on forecasts, customer orders, capacity, and material availability.

  • Adjust production plans in response to changes in demand, supply constraints, or operational issues.

  • Coordinate production priorities with manufacturing and customer service departments.

  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize shortages and excess stock.

  • Support inventory accuracy through regular reviews and data validation.

  • Communicate schedule changes, risks, and constraints clearly to stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness.

  • Support process improvements related to planning systems, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing (PPE, safety products, or similar) is a strong asset.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demand-driven environment.

Le ou la planificateur(trice) de production est responsable de la planification, de la coordination et de l'optimisation des horaires de production afin d'assurer la fabrication des produits d'EPI (équipements de protection individuelle) dans les délais, tout en respectant les objectifs de qualité, de santé et sécurité et de coûts. Le poste exige d'équilibrer la demande clients, les niveaux d'inventaire, la capacité de production et la disponibilité des matières premières dans un environnement manufacturier réglementé.

Responsabilités principales

  • Élaborer et maintenir les plans et calendriers de production en fonction des prévisions, des commandes clients, de la capacité et de la disponibilité des matières premières.

  • Ajuster les plans de production en fonction des changements de la demande, des contraintes d'approvisionnement ou des enjeux opérationnels.

  • Prioriser la production en collaboration avec les équipes de production et du service à la clientèle.

  • Surveiller les niveaux d'inventaire (matières premières, encours de production et produits finis) afin de minimiser les ruptures et les surplus.

  • Communiquer clairement les changements d'horaires, les risques et les contraintes aux parties prenantes.

  • Suivre la performance de la production par rapport aux plans (respect des horaires, volumes, délais de livraison).

  • Identifier des opportunités d'amélioration de l'exactitude de la planification, de l'efficacité et de la réactivité.

  • Contribuer à l'amélioration des processus, des outils et des systèmes de planification.

Exigences et qualifications

  • Diplôme en gestion des opérations, chaîne d'approvisionnement, génie industriel ou domaine connexe (ou expérience équivalente).

  • 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en planification ou en ordonnancement de la production dans un environnement manufacturier.

  • Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier réglementé (EPI, produits de sécurité ou similaire) constitue un atout.

  • Excellentes capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.

  • Maîtrise des systèmes ERP et compétences avancées avec Excel.

  • Très bonnes aptitudes en organisation et en gestion des priorités.

  • Excellentes habiletés de communication et capacité à travailler en équipe multidisciplinaire.

  • Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement rapide et axé sur la demande.
