IMECH engineers and manufactures radial bearings, thrust bearings, and other critical components for the down hole oil and gas market. Our proprietary coatings and heat treatment protect customer-supplied components such as mandrels, fishing tools, and conveyors in oil and gas, mining, power generation, and plastics industries.
What will you do? Your success is determined by your ability to function in these areas:
- Perform routine and operational quality control check of all manufactured products.
- Ensuring that what needs a Quality Control Check gets done in an efficient time manner. It is of the Quality Control Inspector’s duty to know to measure ALL products according to the documented procedures and to be knowledgeable of what needs to be measured.
- Verify all measurements are accurate.
- Report any deviations to during daily checks.
- Ensure the calibration of tools is accurate and complete.
- Keeping track of mic’s, tools and all measuring devices as they are required from the QC room
- Record and develops NCRs when required.
- Follow all QMS guidelines, provide feedback and ideas for any changes.
- Maintain department equipment; ensure department is organized and clean.
- Communicate with stakeholders as required.
- Be adaptable and flexible to take on multiple roles outside the scope of Quality; additional duties may be required as per managerial discretion.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.
