About the role:
The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meditech Expanse Training Lead to oversee the planning, development,
and delivery of training programs related to the Meditech Expanse Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The ideal
candidate will have in‑depth knowledge of clinical systems, a strong background in healthcare IT training, and proven
leadership skills. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical, technical, and operational teams to ensure that
end‑users are proficient and confident in using the Meditech Expanse system
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Education, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare training, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; experience with
-
healthcare IT training preferred.

Hands‑on experience with the Meditech Expanse EHR system or similar (Epic or Oracle) preferred.

Proven ability to manage and lead a team of trainers and develop effective training for a large scale program.
Skills/Abilities:
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
-
Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
-
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms.
-
Problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in training environments.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Assets:
- Meditech Expanse certification or other EHR‑related certifications are an asset
