EAST 213 Introduction: East Asian Culture: Korea.

Total Hours of Work per Term:
160 hours per TA position for Winter 2026

  • Hours are dependent on course enrollment.

Position Summary:

Reading course materials and attending lectures, holding conferences (discussion groups based on lectures and readings). Grading exams and essays. Miscellaneous tasks such as photocopying, occasional meetings with the Professor to discuss course content and issues focused on grading exams, etc.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have a B.A.in Asian Studies or equivalent, B.A. Honours is preferable. Knowledge of Korean Culture. French language an asset and Korean Language desirable. Must be a currently registered student at McGill University in an M.A. or Ph.D. program.

Hourly rate: $37.34

Position Start Date: January 2, 2026

Position End Date: May 9, 2026
