About the role
Who we are The Honest Farmer, a division of Westbow Group, is a Chilliwack- based regenerative goods grocery delivery. We work with small- batch farmers to deliver high- quality food that supports our customers, livestock, and restores the environment in the process. As an online subscription service, we deliver to our customers throughout Chilliwack and Vancouver on a weekly basis. Our goal is to provide our grocery boxes in timely, accurate manner, so that we can continue to support our hard- working farmers and achieve our broader mission of normalizing regenerative farming. About the role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering Honest Farmer grocery baskets to our customers on-time and in a professional way. A usual day will include loading and driving deliveries, picking up returnable, and ensuring all deliveries are updated in our delivery app as you go.
Hourly Wage Range: $22.00-$25.00 hourly
Schedule: 8-12 hours, Fridays. Potential to increase delivery days as business grows.

What you’ll be doing

Delivering grocery baskets to customers throughout Vancouver and assuring product is delivered as expected, with no items missing, to the correct customer every time.

Calmly navigating deliveries throughout Vancouver to residential and urban areas.

Strong ability to read maps & follow directions.

Loading grocery baskets into the van strategically to simplify the delivery route, while ensuring baskets are safe and secure.

Greeting our customers with a smile as you run into them on deliveries.

Utilizing our Shopify app after each delivery so our customers have real- time updates.

Responding to calls and texts on The Honest Farmer phone pertaining to your current delivery route.
What we’re looking for
-
Previous experience in a similar role.

Strong attention to detail.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Experience with delivery vans is an asset.

Willingness and ability to work outside for periods year-round.
