Job Description
- Oversee flu immunization clinics by assessing patient’s needs, preparing, and administering vaccinations
- Provide aftercare instructions and related documentation; respond to flu immunization related questions
- Ensures that all Patient documentation meets the standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures of Spectrum Health Care and the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- New Graduates welcome
- Experience with injections an asset
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) (Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN))
- Ability to work independently in managing a caseload
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (Additional language skills considered an asset)
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills
