##Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and creative Application Solutions Manager to join our dynamic team at Dollarama. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business & Digital Innovation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to propel our company to new heights.
The Application Solutions Manager is responsible for defining, driving, and delivering the roadmap for the company’s mobile and Point of Sale (POS) solutions. The role ensures that application solutions are strategically aligned with business priorities while guaranteeing the quality, performance, and continuous evolution of the platforms.
They lead a multidisciplinary team composed of project managers, business analysts, and designers, and are accountable for delivering a portfolio of high-impact, business‑critical projects.
##Key Accountabilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and motivate a team of approximately 5 resources.
- Ensure the development, engagement, and autonomy of team members.
- Establish a work framework that promotes structured methodology, rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables, adherence to commitments, and satisfaction of internal clients.
Application Vision & Portfolio Management
- Define and maintain the roadmap for mobile and POS solutions in alignment with business and technology strategy.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risks, capacity, and dependencies.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and standardization of existing solutions.
- Manage the application project portfolio, including enhancement, continuous improvement, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with IT, operations, finance, security teams, and external vendors.
Business Analysis and Solutions
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
- Challenge and optimize operational processes related to mobile and POS solutions.
- Recommend robust, scalable, and user‑centric application solutions.
- Contribute to deployment, training, and post‑implementation support strategies.
##Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, information systems, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an asset).
- 5 to 10 years of experience in application solutions management, digital product management, or IT project management.
- Significant experience with mobile and/or POS solutions in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and simplification abilities.
- Strong results orientation, business value mindset, and user‑experience focus.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of project and product management methodologies (Agile, hybrid).
- Knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow, or other corporate platforms (asset).
