A leading industrial manufacturing business is looking for a Senior Credit Control Analyst to join its finance team in Montreal, Quebec.
About the Role
This role will support the Credit Control function and provide day-to-day administrative support across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Management.
Responsibilities
Evaluate customer credit hold status and make decisions to place or release holds Complete customer credit reviews and recommend appropriate credit levels Work with internal teams and field offices to resolve disputed charges Review collection reports and monitor outstanding balances Support collection of overdue payments Work with cash applications and sales teams to resolve customer deductions Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager Review travel expense reports for accuracy and correct classification Prepare and post journal entries Coordinate new vendor setup and support shared services activity Input vendor invoices, match invoices to checks and maintain vendor/customer files Build relationships across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and Customer Service teams Support internal customer satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships
Qualifications
Diploma in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience 3–4+ years of experience in administration, finance support, customer service or credit control
Required Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisation and attention to detail Confident working with internal and external stakeholders Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Analytical, dependable and proactive approach Strong judgement and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current/active driver’s licence
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field 6–10+ years of relevant administrative, finance or customer service experience Experience working with Sales and Customer Service teams Credit control, collections, accounts receivable or cash applications experience Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
