About the role

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Key Account Manager to support the launch and growth of an innovative treatment within the neurology portfolio. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong clinical understanding, business acumen, and a proven record in specialty pharmaceutical sales and account management.

The successful candidate will act as the territory business owner—building partnerships with healthcare professionals, infusion sites, and institutional stakeholders to support patient access and optimize outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Territory & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with neurologists, infusion site teams, nurses, and key healthcare decision-makers
  • Map and coordinate treatment and referral pathways to ensure efficient patient care delivery
  • Serve as the primary clinical and business contact for all inquiries related to the product and service offering

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with regional and national objectives
  • Communicate product value, safety, and administration details effectively to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing to ensure consistent execution of territory initiatives
  • Identify system barriers and market opportunities and provide insights to internal teams to inform strategic decisions

Clinical & Educational Support

  • Deliver credible, balanced, and compliant scientific information to healthcare professionals
  • Facilitate educational meetings, advisory sessions, and local learning initiatives to strengthen understanding and engagement
  • Represent the organization at key regional and national conferences and industry events

Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure adherence to all corporate policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and complete administrative tasks promptly
  • Manage territory budgets effectively and ensure proper maintenance of company assets

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in neurology or specialty
  • Demonstrated success in launching and growing complex specialty products
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30% within Quebec and nationally as required
