Job Description

Support the Housing and Conference Services department by assisting with routine repair and preventive maintenance tasks across campus. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in maintenance and facility operations. Work is routine and performed under close supervision in accordance with prescribed procedures and established guidelines.

Accountabilities

  • Assist with completing minor, routine repair work as directed.
  • Assist with maintenance duties such as but not limited to:
    • Changing filters in bedroom & common room fan coil units
    • Inspection and repair of furniture in bedroom & common rooms
    • Painting
  • Assists with furniture moves for various campus locations
  • Assist with job site clean-up and debris removal as directed

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma.

  • Experience: Prior experience working in a maintenance field is preferred.

  • Required to move and lift up to 30 lbs

  • G-Class license is an asset
