Intent of the process The intent of this process is to fill two (2) positions on an indeterminate (permanent) basis: one (1) in Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador and one (1) in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.A pool of essentially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of National Defence (DND).

  • Possess and maintain a valid unrestricted provincial or territorial driver’s licence.

  • Possession of a professional real property designation: Certified Property Manager (CPM), Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Certified Leasing Officer (CLO).

ASSET EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in contributing to the drafting or preparation of agreements, service arrangements, leases, or land related documentation involving external partners.
  • Experience in liaising with territorial governments, airport authorities, Indigenous governments, municipalities, or federal departments.
  • Experience in supporting real property activities such as land instruments, accommodation coordination, site access logistics, or property file management.
  • Experience in writing reports, summaries, or briefing materials using information from multiple sources.
  • Experience in using computer aided design (CAD) software to view or interpret property boundaries, site plans, surveys, or facility layouts.
  • Experience in coordinating contractor access, site visits, inspections, or logistical support in remote or regulated environments (e.g., airports, northern communities).
