About the role

Reports To: Director, Human Resources

Location: Calgary, McTavish Office

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Closing Date: February 16, 2026

The big picture:

As a Recruiter in our Human Resources Department, you will help develop and execute our overall recruiting strategy to help us scale our business and source, assess, and onboard exceptional talent. You will use proactive, innovative techniques as you lead our full cycle recruitment process. As a Recruiter, you will enthusiastically demonstrate AirSprint’s Core Values in everything you do.

In this role you will:

  • Design strategy, assess recruitment needs and advise hiring managers on innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies.
  • Suggest opportunities to increase AirSprint’s brand awareness.
  • Leverage an agile approach to quickly deliver results in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Provide expertise into an effective, bias-free applicant tracking process.
  • Source candidates based on defined job descriptions.
  • Review resumes, shortlist, conduct prescreen calls, schedule interviews, and facilitate the interview and selection process.
  • Administer Predictive Index assessments and request background checks on potential hires to ensure effective hiring decisions.
  • Conduct reference checks, coordinate offer negotiations, and provide effective closing strategies.
  • Respond to candidates’ questions and ensure they have the right information to make an informed decision.
  • Support onboarding of new employees, working collaboratively with hiring managers and their teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage recruitment records.
  • Provide generalis support to the HR team as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Have or working towards Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in full-cycle recruitment.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of process management experience in a recruiting role.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking software.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and HR information systems.

Bonus points if you have:

  • HR generalist experience.
  • Aviation industry experience.
