About the Position
Primary Focus
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator will coordinate and organize all program deliveries for the community, micro-credential, open enrollment, and corporate offerings, as well as conferences for clients on campus and in the community for Lethbridge Polytechnic – Continuing Education. The successful candidate should be a flexible team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. They will use innovation, problem-solving, and computer skills to coordinate each unique project. The Project Coordinator works closely with the Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant, and the Polytechnic’s Affiliated Services to ensure our program delivery meets course and client objectives, resulting in a repeat client.
Position Details
Specific job duties include:
- Plan and schedule Lethbridge Polytechnic Continuing Education Open Enrollment, Micro-credential and corporate offerings that are current and add value to our community.
- Be the central point of contact for open enrollment course delivery including recruit, screen, secure and schedule instructors or course providers.
- Identify the appropriate method of delivery and organize training space or location.
- Research and collaborate with stakeholders for potential new offerings.
- Assist with the advertising and promotion of courses, programs, and promotional materials by writing content for the newsletter and social media.
- Assist the Operations Manager in budget forecasting and management, program grants, sponsorships and contractual relationships stemming from provincial, federal and private sources.
- Evaluate programs post-delivery, review learners’ feedback and propose changes.
- Ensure all stakeholders are informed of course offerings, and the non-credit registration system is up to date on course delivery.
- Order and prepare materials and supplies for distribution to students in face-to-face courses through the bookstore, publisher, and campus print shop.
- Ensures necessary resources and equipment are always available for instructors.
- Monitor courses and actively problem-solve before and during program deliveries.
- Ensure that deliveries adhere to Lethbridge Polytechnic policies and that all documentation is maintained appropriately for each offering.
This position will be office-based with mostly traditional business hours. The needs of the business may dictate, from time to time, that course delivery occur outside regular business hours. A large portion of time will be dedicated to telephone and computer work. Occasionally, off-campus travel may be required.

Post-Secondary Diploma and/or experience in coordination, project management or client service role; combination of education and experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications
Salary
Starting from $31.56 - $33.72 per hour; commensurate with education and experience.
