Current Shifts: rotating shifts, days and evenings (nights as required)
Days - 0600-1400, 0700-1500 or 0830-1630
Evenings - 1400-2200 or 1500-2300.
Weekends-0600-1400 or 1400-2200
Nights (as required)-2300-0600
(The hospital reserves right and all shifts are subject to change)
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Clerical Coordinator, the Clerk provides support for the day-to-day administrative activities of the Diagnostic Imaging, performing office and reception tasks, as well as performing other duties to support the smooth operation and organization of the department.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Medical Office Administration Program certificate and/or recent related medical office experience
- Medical Terminology course with demonstrated working knowledge
- Successful completion of the Emergency First Aid and CPR C course or willingness to undertake and complete the course with proof of registration within 30 days
- Recent Patient Registration experience
- Meditech Order Entry and MSM Applications experience
- Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience along with Community-wide Scheduling
- Excellent computer skills with 55 wpm keyboarding
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to successfully communicate with patients, physicians and hospital staff
- Demonstrated skill in multitasking and time management and evidence of sound organizational, prioritization and record keeping skills with the ability to work well in stressful situations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians
